In response to an invitation from Bishop Knestout, on the weekend of August 28 and 29 we will take an emergency second collection to support relief efforts in the wake of the devastating earthquake which killed thousands in Haiti on August 16. The emergency response there was significantly hampered by the landfall of Tropical Storm Grace. Contributions may be made directly to the parish, and we will pass them along to the diocese, which will transmit them to the USCCB Bishops Emergency Disaster Fund.
