We welcome anyone who speaks French or is interested in this language!
The Richmond Catholic French-Speaking Community has been established to fulfill a growing need of the Richmond community. We want to offer this community the pleasure and joy of having a Mass in French. We want to create a spirit of fellowship, sharing and mutual aid!
Father Jonathan Goertz generously offered Our Lady of Lourdes Church as a place to celebrate Mass and to gather, and he will also have the pleasure of presiding some Masses.
We invite you to come to have a moment of cultural immersion and to share with our French-speaking brothers and sisters from many countries such as France, Canada, United States, Togo, and Gabon, just to name a few.
If you are looking for a place to pray, if you just arrived in this country and are looking for a Catholic community, or if you are simply looking for a chance to practice your French, we are here for you! We invite you to join us one Saturday every month at 9am. We look forward to seeing you there!
