Welcome to the 2024-2025 Faith Formation year!
We are excited to grow in faith alongside your family. Please read these directions completely, as the process has changed.
All registration will take place in person in the parish office, beginning on Monday, June 17.
Walk-in hours are:
–Sundays 10 am to 1 pm
–Monday through Thursday 9am to 4pm
–Friday from 9am to 12pm
Faith Formation (without sacraments):
For those enrolling for religious education or youth group only, complete the registration form in the parish office with the assistance of a member of the Christian Formation staff. The fee for Sunday religious education and youth group supplies is $50 per participant.
Sacrament Preparation:
The Diocese of Richmond requires:
All children must participate in a Sacrament preparation program in addition to a general faith formation program.
–All children prepare for First Penance prior to preparation for First Holy Communion.
–As primary witnesses of the faith to your children, parents will be guided through the process of preparing their children for sacraments with the support of our Christian formation staff.
–If your child was baptized at a parish other than Our Lady of Lourdes, a copy of the baptismal certificate is necessary for registration.
Sacramental Preparation Fees:
RCIA, First Sacraments Fee: $50
Confirmation Fee: $100
Please note that Catholic School Students receive their faith formation integrated into their education. Therefore, they only need to register for Sacramental Preparation.
Fees can be paid in cash or by check (payable to “Our Lady of Lourdes”). Please do not allow cost to be an obstacle to registering your child for any of these programs.
